Oil Trap Replacement cost S70

1998 S70 GLT 173,000 miles.

Thinking of having a local independent Volvo specialist (there are a couple in my area)replace my oil trap/PCV system - it needs it for sure. Haven't gotten a quote yet and was thinking of doing myself. What does a mechanic generall charge for this job?

    It is a 5+ hour job for DIY, first timers. A mechanic should do it in 3 hours. Parts are about $200. You labor rate is the variable.
