radiator S70 2000

Hello this is my first post. I bought a new radiator and received it today. Upon closer inspection of which models it would fit, I'm afraid I may have gotten the wrong one. I have a 2000 s70 glt. The website said that this particular radiator would fit a 2000 base, 5cyl, 2.4l. So my question is, does the trim level e.g. "glt" have an effect on whether a radiator will fit?

You must be looking for the oil cooler lines on the passenger side, which the base model does not have. You need a radiator for a GLT which has a lowpressure turbo.

Yeah man the one I received is totally wrong. I know what I need now. Thank you guys for all your help. Lesson learned to never take an operator's word for it.

I might be wrong, but doesn't the radiator have 2 lines for coolant and 2 lines for transmission fluid? Both Groton and IPD & others have them the same for both.

And turbos have an oil cooler in the radiator, plus the coolant openings are in different places than the NA, which means different coolant lines.
Shop carefully.

Then I guess the question to Paddy is: Does the radiator you got in the mail have six holes in it or four holes?

Hi,
Many parts are similar on our cars but it's always wise to double and triple check. The FCP Groton website lists the OEM numbers as 8602558, 8603767, 8601451, and has them the same for turbo and non-turbo. You're probably good but don't take my word for it, check the number stamped on the part and call your local dealership's parts dept. Good luck & have fun
