V70 spark plug?

I have a question about recommended spark plugs for my '99 NA V70. I lost my manual, but got an online version. Thanks, Jim Rothe.

The online version specifies Bosch FR7DC or Champion RC9YC plugs. I'm a little surprised. I thought the general wisdom here was to use nothing but Volvo plugs. Can anyone shed a little light here? Thanks.
