Hi All,

just a quick note to see if anyone has had an error code of 0070, Internal computer failure? If so, did you send your ABS unit to Victor Rocha for repair or did you replace your ABS?

As info, Stillman's Volvo in West Chester, Pa quoted me a rebulild for $475 and a new unit for ~$900.

    I'm sorry I don't remember the error code I had when my unit failed. Seems I do remember an ABS and STS light coming on, and seem to remember the speedometer also quit working. Victor I believe charges around $125 plus shipping. He'll also sell you the torx driver needed (very small and difficult to find). Here is his web sight if you haven't already found this. Just ask if you need more help, but there is a lot of info on the sight if you do a search.

      I had my s70 abs module sent to Victor and have it back in 2 weeks. The module works perfectly now and the remove and installation of the module is a piece of cake! A volvo shop would like to charge me $475 for the re-build unit + installation. I am not a mechanic, but I can use a wrench and I got it done.
