Rear spring 850 1997

The rubber stop inside the rear coil spring pulled apart from the top mount.
so it's sitting at the bottom of the coil. Both pieces look in good shape .
Before I tear it down . Is there a bolt to fasten it back together or should I get a new one. Thanks.

The bump stops are held in place with plastic push pins. List price for them is $0.86, the thieves at Rick Hendrick Superior Volvo of course charge $1.20 each for them.

The retainers that I purchased had the pin molded into the retainer and I had to break it off. It also fit very, very tight so I wound up reaming out the hole in the retainer so that it would lock the retainer in place with a reasonable amount of force. I used the spring itself as a fulcrum and levered the pin in place rather than trying to tap it in.
