Wagons rear seats backrest, how to remove? 850

Hi guys,

I've found by pure coincidence a beautiful '96 850 wagon N/A with only 58,000 miles on the clock. The car is MINT in and out, A/C works fine and the car has been perfectly maintained through the years. I've paid $4k for it. There's unfortunately one little drawback: the seats are no leather.

I own an other '96 850 wagon N/A and I'd like before selling it, swap the leather seats with the new one. I've been able to remove the front bucket seats very easily but I'm stuck on rear seats backrest and I really dont know how to remove the 2 halves

Does someone know how?

Thx

The side panels must come off and the seat belt anchors taken out. Fold the seat back forward an inch or 2 and remove the clip securing the backrest to the wheel arch by pressing it in at the bottom with a screwdriver and lifting it up with another screwdriver. Press the backrest out and pull it up in its outer mounting. Lift the backrest up and out.

That was from Haynes 850 manual. You need one. And 3 arms :)
