P0442 - Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (small leak) 850

Howdy Brickters,
My 96 850 manual, has about 185,000 miles on it. The check engine light kept coming on randomly (about every 2 weeks), now it is on solid. So finally I hooked up my OBDII reader and it gave me this fault P0442 - Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (small leak). Anyone know what I'm talking about?
Thanks in advance,
Blake

Probably the SAS valve. It is on a vacuum line running from the charcoal cannister. It is supposed to be a one way valve and can be checked by trying to blow through it. Or one of the vacuum elbows has rotted through.

So you are talking about the "EVAP" Hose that is connected to that little black and white one way value, which is on a T that goes to the canister and also some where above the transmission behind the engine?

So I have been digging around, all the hoses at the canister look great, no problem there, on of the smaller lines, with blue marks on it, going to what looks like a small blue filter (smelled a bit like gas), then directly to a electric value, then to the intake manifold. The electric value is right by the fan relay. This has some pretty crappy hose connections, which I'm going to replace, but I'm very sure they aren't leaking. The electric valve is shut at this point. Oh and what is the deal with that(pump?)underneath the battery tray? It appears to be connected also to the canister, but I can't figure out what it is for. That one way, white and black value is fine. I have to head off to work now, (for once, I like my roommate) so this is as far as I got. I can't seem to see any problems with this is system yet.
