Test for bad sway bar end links 850 1993

My car has a banging from the front end when going over bumps. It seems to be emanating from the strut area. Not sure if it is a strut noise or the sway bar end links. I remember reading somewhere that there is a way to test the sway bar end links. Can anyone help?

BTW - The tie rod ends have been replaced and the ball joints are okay.
