PNP Install 850 1995

Hi,

Is there a shoulder/spacer underneath the right bolt hole of the PNP? I don't remember one when taking the old PNP off and the new, right PNP hole sits about 3/8" above the mounting surface. The center sits flush over the shaft and the left hole sits flush. The wire that runs underneath is not interfering. I put the old one back on and it sits the same way, right hole is not flush. The bolt itself looks "new" where the gap is. Did I lose a shoulder/spacer during disassembly?

Thanks.

    Yes,

I do believe that there is a spacer in there, I do not have an 850 in the shop right now or I would just walk out there and take a look. Good news is that there is a picture of it in the Vadis parts catalog, bad news is it has no part number with it. It has been awhile since I have done an 850 GPS but I thought that spacer was not only a spacer but it had a tang on it that secured some other sensor or part to the trans as well. Either way it sounds like you need to redouble your efforts and find that POS.

    Mark
