Hi, my 1998 V70,2.4 litre auto with 180,000 mi has stalled out strangely twice, about 6 months apart each time. After sitting for about three day, it fired up nice and ran great for about 3-4 miles and then started to mis-fire and finally stall. It would not start up again, cranking until the battery was drained. Got a boost about a half hour later and started up right away and ran great. Both times had similarities. Any ideas what it might be.
??air in fuel system working it's way to engine??
It rained a little each time as well.
Please help...Ed

    How about new plugs? Air in the fuel system will not create any problems. If there are no warning lights, the next time it stalls try tapping on the fuel pump relay (103) in your fuse box.

    The 164 has a new home, all I am left with are a 95 854T and a 98 V70R :)
