If your lever is broken, do not assume that you need all of the other parts. A call to FCP Groton will get you a new lever.

As for a cigarette lighter, I found that scraping and cleaning out the lighter portion usually works just fine. The generic lighters at autoparts stores work also, but make sure you buy one that has a built in light.

Please answer, we need to know if the advice is good or bad. The 164 has a new home, all I am left with are 2 turbos :)

We actually need the bushing and bearing for the tilt but the dealer said we would have to buy the entire assembly for $999. At this point, the bushing is broken but we were hoping to also replace the bearing since we will have all this apart. Any ideas for a souce for a bearing and bushing for the tilt?

Additionally, the prior owner's of this car used to remove the cigar lighter and hide their pot behind it so the holder comes out and nothing holds it in now. I was basically hoping to find the entire assembly because it's trashed now.

      thanks

Try your local salvage yard. Most people never change the setting on the steering wheel, so the parts ought to be good - and cheap.

        Same for the lighter :)
