Looking for AWD Lubricant information. V70-XC70 1998

I own a 1998 V70 AWD vehicle with 93K on it. I would like to know if there is a lubricant or lubricants needed for servicing the AWD system? How often should it be serviced? Part #'s & est. $ would be greatly appreciated. Or should it not be serviced at all?

Also, what tire sizes can be used for this vehicle?

Your help is greatly appreciated here. Many thanks.

Too many tire sizes for too many wheel diameters.

As for awd fluids, replace the bevel gear oil now. It needs to be pumped out and refilled, there is no drain plug. The tranny should be flushed.

Do we have any other info on this AWD Fluid/Bevel Gear Oil? Specs sheet would be awesome on this.

Local Volvo Dealer says that this gets serviced at 60K and then again every 20K from there on. I asked why but got no answer on it.

I am surprised your dealer said 60/30K intervals. Volvo official policy is "good for life", just like tranny fluid! Life must be defined as pretty short!
Check these 2 threads out. The last paragraph is different.

After some extensive research online and talking with mechanics. This Bevel Gear Lube is a 75W-90 Full Synthetic Gear Oil Lubricant.

Volvo Mechanics (outside of Dealerships) recommend that this be changed out between 60K - 90K on your AWD vehicles, with service intervals after that between 20K - 60K pending on vehicle. Volvo Dealerships want you in at 60K and then every 20K - 30K for service intervals.
