My car wasn't starting well, particularly when it is hot outside. So I took it in and the mechanic said it needed a tune up and timing belt change. The error code was cylinder 1 misfire.
Well as usual, it starts well if it is cold, but on hot days, it's really difficult to start. after it starts the exhasut smell like gas. But the tune up really helped my gas milage and the car runs great once it's started.
The mechanic said give the fuel system cleaner time to work, because there was a lot of carbon deposits. So I did and ran through three additional treatments.
Any way, it still is difficult to start.
I'm wondering if there is a leaky vaccum hose? Because that would be affected by hot days.
