Sway Bar End links? V70-XC70 1999

Hi-
I've got a 99 v70 XC, and i was curious how to tell when the front sway bar end links are worn out?

I've only had the car about 6 months it has 154000 miles on it, and i don't have history on when they were last(if ever) done.

Usually there is a rattle in the front end that is hard to find. Sometimes you can tell just by reaching under the car and trying to wiggle them.
