has my timing belt been replaced? V70-XC70 1998

I am the 2nd owner on a 1998 V70. All the interval services have been done (the last one was the 75k one). I know this because of the dealer stamps in the service manual. I am up for my 80k servicing and wanted to know if my timing belt would have been replaced by the dealer servicing at the 70k service? The dealer stamps don't indicate what services were done, but is there a standard checklist for what gets done during each service? Or, is there a way that I or my service technician can check to see if it has been replaced already?

Basically, I don't want to go the dealer and have him/her lie to me that I need a replacement if it's already been done. I want to be informed before I go.

Thanks everyone.

If you can't verify timming belt and tensioner replacement I recommend you bite the bullet and replace....My belt was replaced at 69k miles but my tensioner wasn't.....the interference repairs when the belt came off cost me $4500...I had to fight my Extended Warranty Company...Source1.. to get back part of the amount ...they are now banrupt.

Call the dealer that did the 70K service and ask. All of the service is on their computer. They will require that you supply the VIN. If they won't tell you, call Volvos 800 number and complain.
