Re: checking fuel pump 850

First thing to do is what KlausC already mentioned, listen for the pump when the key is turned to postition II. If you hear it running each time you do that, then you can check the pressure with a fuel pressure gauge. There are two schrader valves, one under the car before the filter, and one at the end of the fuel rail near the throttle cable connection. You can check at the rail with the fuel pressure regulator (FPR) both hooked up and with the vaccuum disconnected to check the FPR.
