Speedometer quits working and warning lights come on S70 1999

Just bought a 1999 S70. Love the car, but on way home from another state where I bought it the cruise control suddenly quit working and at the same time the ABS light and Brake light came on and the Speedometer and its readout stopped working...also a flashing orange arrow below the tachometer stayed on the rest of my trip...this arrow is in the area of the other warning lights that I mentioned.

Upon restarting everything will work except for cruise control...it stayed off for the remaining 300 miles of my trip. Everything else would come-on and go-off either by themselves or at restart.
