2001 Roof stip becoming discolored, thoughts?

I have a 2001 V70 that is experiencing discolorations of the plastic pieces that run from the windshield the length of the roof on either side. Any thoughts on what to do or how much to replace?

Certain kinds of car wax will discolor the plastic. I use Zymol wax on all my vehicles because it doesn't seem to do this. You may want to try waxing the plastic with Zymol and see if that can remove the discoloration. Also, Black Back or Mr. Clean Magic Eraser might work.

Paste wax restored mine. You can get replacement strips.
