my 93 glt ran perfectly to work then when I tried to start her in the evening the motor fired up for a second then cut out ,the motor spins over very easily like theres no compression , checked the cam belt ok, theres sparks and fuel but she never fires , I'm guessing the problem lies with the hydraulic lifters or a failed oil pump maybe , any help would be appreciated

Check cam position sensor. You have an electrical problem, not lifter or oil pump problem. It is probably firing the plugs at the wrong time.

Maybe do a compression check to see what's happening?? If it's flooded badly that may wash away the piston ring oil and lower the compression. Try squirting some oil down through the plug holes.
