What is the correct temperature for the thermostat? I need to replace mine.
Thanks

All 850/70s have the same thermostat. Just get one OEM, even the dealer isn't that expensive compared to online where you have to add shipping.
I only say this because my stat failed in my 854T, and when I pulled it out it looked like it was made in China! And only 2 years old.

I disagree...Volvo no longer sells the 87degree thermostat...as all of theirs is the 90degree one (Celcius, that is). Go to www.fcpgroton.com and buy the 87degree one. This will heat your engine to normal operating temperature earlier in the winter which means nice warm cabin. Also, on a TURBO model the thermostat with the lesser degrees is recommended, at least by all turbo owners I know on this board and others.
