I'd say that your PCV system (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) is stopped up and causing positive pressure in your engine, which the system is suppose to relieve. These are the little hoses that come off of your oil trap. Your flame trap may also be clogged. It is essential to either clean or replace the stopped up hoses/traps because if you don't the leak persists as well as the pressure build up will eventually blow out your engine seals...the worst one being your rear main seal (very expensive repair), if it's not already leaking oil too. It's not too expensive. If you have a good independent mechanic who will replace these items, my opinion is to buy the PCV kit and flame trap (flame trap is cheap and easy to replace) and give him these items and tell him to exhange the old out with the new. You can find all of these items on www.fcpgroton.com If you don't see the "PCV Kit" listed for your car, call them. They are very friendly and know what you will need. If you have 100K miles on your car or more it's time to do this "preventative maitenance" anyway.
I just ordered the PCV Kit for my S70 yesterday and plan to do this task myself over the Thanksgiving holidays because I had blow-by around my turbo and traced it down to the smaller vacum hoses around the intake to the turbo. Of course, yours doesn't have a turbo but you still have a similar PCV system. Remember that on your car there is a FLAME TRAP...don't neglect this easy and cheap replacement.
Good luck!
