My subject says it. I have replaced the front bulb with a good bulb, all signal bulbs are flashing just very fast and the message on the dash says bulb out. The right signal blinks at normal speed. What gives?

I soldered the corroded part and everything worked fine again.

We assume you replaced the original because it was burned out. Sometimes if the bulb is not the same type (same current and wattage) or even a different brand vs the original the flashing will be different or the bulb warning will come on. Alternatively is the socket corroded or damaged so current does not flow?

Check the relay if it is blinking too fast, usually this is the culprit.

THis happened a lot in my wifes 2001 V70. I fixed the problem when i replaced the socket that the lamp plugs into. I bough the new socket at my dealer. easy to do and very inexpensive <10$ US.

Yes, the socket was bad, the local car repair place did the work.
Unrelated, "I think",now unfortunately the headlamp glass is showing condensation, I think the seal is leaking.

Newer models have a spongy material built in that breathes out the moisture, sort of like gortex. I believe the dealer sells this fix for your head lights. Not seen it anywhere else on line, so you might want to call them and ask them about it.
