Coolant Level? S80

Ok folks, here is a new one on me! I'm getting a message that says to "check coolant level and stop car as soon as possible." However, when I inspected the coolant reservoir, it was completely full? Any guesses? TIA!

Either the float in the coolant tank is loose or the wires on the bottom are loose. The computer is not getting a signal from the tank.

KlausC, thanks for the advice! Can you tell me how to access the float to see if it is the problem? I think it may be the culprit! TIA

All of the working parts are on the bottom of the tank. I haven't had a need to work on mine, so I cannot give you any first hand knowledge. Check the wiring first, that's easy; then check for a loose float.
