850R new suspension problem 850

Hi all,
Well, I had the suspension 'fixed' on my '96 850R. At 160K miles, the front spring seats were shot, and I figured as long as we're in there let's make it new again. I had a shop replace the struts and shocks with Bilstein HD's along with new front spring seats and strut mounts. P

Here's the problem: the rear now sags down to the tires and it looks like I now have a "low-rider." From looking at the board, I'm guessing the car had Nivomats and I didn't know it and now needs new springs. I wouldn't expect the shop who installed the shocks to know either, because they didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. They even charged me $30 for an oil change but didn't change the oil or filter. I caught that one before I left the lot, though, and had them do it. I digress.

So what do I do now? Where can I find springs, and do they wear much with age-i.e. should I buy new or can I get used springs?

Thanks,

jeff
