I was talking to a friend of mine about it. I think someone should make a TV show where they show what actually happens when you don't fix something the right way. As in, "I made the mistake, here's what happens. Learn from it". Instead of just show the top end repairs that most shade tree mechanics can't afford to do.
I thought it would be cool to do that with older Volvos (repair them on a TV show, showing how some repairs are done that all Volvo owners know, and sell them).
The problem is, I don't know how much of a market there would be for that unique of a thing. Although it would be nice to have a visual representation for car owners who aren't super knowledgeable and can (and do) get taken by shops.
I know there are youtube vids that do this (Robert DIY for one). But having a bigger budget and more time than what is allowed on youtube would be nice.
Just gotta win me the lottery...
