I managed to overheat my engine, not by lack of oil, but by lack of water
actually I take that back, I wasn't me who overheated it, it was my
girlfiend, I stripped the motor down and took a good look, what I saw was
not pretty.
The head was a throw away item, the cam was not serviceably, the chain had
snapped, the bolts that hold the head in place were not straight, the block
was bowed and the cylenders were so badly damaged, that the only thing that
they could be used for were ashtrays.
Ever since this incident, the car has taken up permanent residence in dads
carport in a parcially dismantled state, I had big plans for that car then dad
got it off me to use as parts for his 740, He has got my "multi-X" mag wheels
on his Volvo(which actually look better on his than they did on mine!)and is
using the back parcel shelf to put "6X9" speakers in it as he doesn't want to cut up his own because he says "If I sell the car, I want to put it back to
original" Fair enough,
I have since bought a new car, a Volvo 850 SE, their a nice car to drive
Volvo's
So there you go mate!
and what happens when you overheat them!
