OD Relay Jumper

Hi there:

OverDrive will not engage when I press the switch. Arrow light/sign permanently on. Have been reading the FAQ and there was mention of bridging some of the pins on the relay to see if it is a faulty relay or some other problem.

If I want my OD to be on all the time (I do not tow nor do I drive in hilly areas, thus do not need the OD on/off switch function)can I just leave the jumper on the relay.
