Intake Question? S90-V90

Now that I look at the manifold on an S80, it looks like it would interfere with the oil fill cap. Also since the TB has to be underneath the manifold we would have to redesign the rest of the rubber hose intake and relocate the AMM. Also it looks like there exist 2 completely different NA S80 6 cylinder intake designs.

From this angle the 1999-2001 manifold looks like it might interfere with the oil fill cap.


From this angle it just looks like it comes really really close.


2002-2004 intake. The TB is at the back of the engine right where the firewall would be in a 960. This one definitely would not fit. Volvo has canceled the 6 cylinder for 2005.
