The CAM Gear racks of the (early?) '80s had a L-R bias adjustment, which could compensate for an age-related pull to the LEFT (my experience and 1 or 2 seen posted here).

I mention this in case your rack(s) might be CAM rebuilts, and thus adjustable.

But on TWO cars? Same problem?
