help on electrical circuit. 140-160

Hello everyone,
I was hoping someone out there with an electrical background (Niel, where are you?? ;)) could help me out with this. Besides vintage Volvos and standing at the buffet line, my other favorite pastime is electronics/electrics. A little background of what I have in mind...

My Volvo will be receiving an M-41 transplant (thanks Greenteagod!), hopefully early next year. Currently on the 144, I have added a 12 inch electric pusher fan in front of the A/C condensor and retaining the mechanical stock fan at the same time. While the stock fan was enough to keep engine temperature in check even in the worst traffic jams, the retrofitted Sanden rotary A/C compressor barely kept the interior cool. The electric fan solved that problem. Since the car is in Malaysia where its hot all the time, I wired the fan via a relay to the A/C compressor, so the fan comes on in unison with the A/C compressor. I am thinking of wiring the fan in such a way that when the O/D is on, the fan shuts off (A/C still running) since if you are in O/D, you are moving at a reasonably good speed to generate enough air-flow into the condensor. Do I ground the fan relay on the positive terminal of the O/D relay? Or is there something else that needs to be done? Thanks for your input, and Merry Christmas all!
