Could you post a pic of what the pins looked like when you got them out?

BTW a 10,000# press is not a very sturdy press if things are stuck.
Sounds like a big number but it's not. Same deal as hammer size. The
old adage of "get a bigger hammer" frequently makes a lot of sense.
About 3 well-placed blows with a 3# hammer will do what you can't do
with a 1# hammer working all day...
