I would NOT use the electric pump with SU carbs. The OEM Pierburg
pump (sold under their own name and also supplied in blue "VOLVO"
boxes) is the right pump to use, puts out exactly 3 psi pressure and
does not overpower the float valves of the carbs. Still pumps plenty
of volume even for a gas-guzzling hopped up 164.

I bought one on ebay for $29.99 last week, new in Volvo box.
