240 VS. 740

Depends. I have both a 93 240 and a 93 940. The 240 is easier to drive, simpler overall and holds more (slightly). The 740/940 is a great highway cruiser. I drive lots and lots of miles every year (30K +) and I wouldn't be able to do that in a 240. The 700/900 series are quieter and the seats much more comfortable. Engine and drivetrain are essentially identical except that my 940 (nonturbo) seems a little peppier off the line and when passing. Different rear end I think.
