Yep. The different cam types were not made (AKAIK) from different cast billets, just ground up to different shapes. So a cast in letter or number would have little to do with the cam specs, but the stamped in letter on the far end does.

I've got an R cam sitting in my garage, but haven't used it yet so I can't comment on the power band characteristics. It's going in next spring when I put a modified head on.
