The motor/relay need three wires. One is a ground. One is hot all the time, and one is switched by the radio.

Connect the ground. Power to red wire, antenna retracts. If it is already retracted, you get just a click and no motor. Power to red AND blue, antenna extends.

If going into a 244, watch the clearance between the antenna motor and the spare tire. Volvo units are a lot longer so as to minimize tire contact.
