On my girlfriends 88 245 the central locking system works sometimes and other times it does'nt. To make matters worse it seems to attempt to lock doors sometimes and will kill the battery overnight at times. I discovered this by cleaning battery cables and when I reconnected I noted a current draw and could hear the locks clicking. Note- all doors were shut and key off. I had a helper touch ground cable to battery and could see locks trying and failing to work. I also noted the drivers lock will not push down into lock position with the door open. I pulled the fuse untill I get another chance to work on it so that it would'nt stick and kill battery. This fuse also killed the clock and dome light. I'm thinking I will start with the relay and drivers door switch. I don't know where that relay is located.
Also after pulling fuse and sending her on her way she reports that the friggin chime is staying on all the time while driving!!
