Crankcase Ventilation problem? 700 1988

One thing I didn't see specifically in your list: the flame trap itself. Did you replace that thing? Turbo's don't have them, but the NA engines do, and from what I understand, they do get clogged.

Some may disagree with this method (as a last resort, of course), but it's worked for me.

Try running a bit of Marvel Mystery Oil with your regular oil just before an oil change.

My 745T failed the jiggle test after I replaced *every* vacuum hose and my breather box. At the time, I also cleaned all the plastic connectors and brass (3/16") fittings on the intake manifold as well, but still got the excess pressure up top.

I decided what the heck, and poured in a 1/2 qt of MMO and ran it for 50 miles. Changed over to synthetic, and have not had a problem since! My guess is somehow either the rings or valves got a bit sticky and needed a bit of loosening up.
