Hiya Calpete,

What oil filter brand and model do you use? Yes, there is the Mann brand filter model W 917. Same for all 4-banger 240 and Volvo B20.

Did you check the dipstick oil level after completing the oil change, yet before starting the engine? (Let some time pass for all the new oil to drain to the oil sump.)

The oil dipstick low and high mark is about one quart. I usually get some overage on my 240s.
