Hi,

You've tried Kroil plus heat and breaker bar, those didn't work. I'd say let it be. Let the broken off sensor lies there (unless its leaking exhaust gas).

This one you have to bring the car to exhaust shop. Ask them to make a hole on the pipe after the cat to put O2 sensor in. Alternatively they can cut off the pipe after the cat (with acetylene torch) and weld in a short segment of pipe with a sensor socket already built in.

A sensor located few inches after the cat wouldn't read much different I think.
