That is correct, the sarter will not spin the crank and tried to turn it the crank with a socket and breaker bar and it would not budge in either direction. I have not tried to push any of the pistons down. I figured that if the crank was seized up that tight it was probably a crankshaft bearing.
I will go out now and see if the pistons will push down.
