I have a 67 122, totally rebuilt SU carbs last year, installed and adjusted by a wizard. The car runs beautifully, except that when I come to a red light, the revs will not come. It does not seem to be mechanical, i.e. hit the gas quick to reset. All that works is to draw the revs down using the suction, for example 4th gear at 5 mph.

Any idea what the problem might be?
