DETAILS about the Wagon 120-130

Nice looking motor. I too have a '68 220, but mine does not have the assist. I've just finished the brakes yesterday and don't much care for the feel. Seems a little spongie to me. I've bled the system twice and may still have air but I suspect the proportioning valves. Everything had lots of corrosion and general junk. Rebuilt front calipers, new rubber hoses, turned rotors, turned drums, and rebuilt wheel cylinders. I'm on the hunt for one new one, Olof at vintage has located a couple. Is there a time period that the brakes set in or burnish? Or am I going to have to get into the porportioning valves. I see where the assist units can be expensive, is the conversion worth the money and trouble". Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
