As I said, mine split where it installs on the seperator box. I lightly pulled on the hose and it came right off, and I immediately knew that something was wrong. I had to use a dowell to install mine originally, so it should have not been that loose. It's not a tight fit, just snug, and it's a long way down there to try and hit it with just the hose.
