If the car is running and there is not any structural rust and the body and door rust is minor you can have fun. The reason I mnetion rust is that it is very deppressuing to put time and $ into a car that will ultimatly be thrown away. It is only a rust free car that you will want to keep in the long run. These cars take a bit of work to get sorted if they have not been well cared for. Once the details are worke dout this is the most reliable classic i can think of, and they go 100 mph if you have the guts.
