Following up on an earlier post. History: CEL came on in our '98 V90 wagon (78k+ miles), and the OBD code was 251 - Ambient Temperature Sensor. Finally took the car to our indy today, and it turns out there are two ambient temperature sensors up by the front bumper - one for the thermometer on the dash and one has something to do with fuel injection. The bad one for us was the latter.
On an aside, we've had a problem with the car being sluggish on cold days. When our indy re-checked the OBD codes today, he got code 210 which is the coolant temp sensor - so that was replaced too - and difference was amazing when I picked the car up a little while ago.
Thanks again, everyone, for your help.
