PV 444 Gauge & Turn Signal Mechanism Cleaning

I know this is probably not the standard 6V to 12V fix, but I added a 90 ohm resistor behind my fuel gauge. I still haven't tested it yet, so I don't know if it works. Pic is posted here:

Also found that the turn signal mechanism can be easily removed; the corroded contacts gently sanded with fine paper to get them clean, the whole mechanism cleaned with an aerosol cleaner (don't use carb cleaner as it will melt the resin in the composite), air dried or sprayed out with computer keyboard or electronics aerosol, and relubricated with a good dielectric grease:

The mechanism moves much smoother now.
