good evening all.

This past weekend i did another one of my weekend excursions and put about 1400 miles on my volvo. got to the flat and there was almost no oil. so i did the oil cap rattle test and there was rattling going on. no suction at all. i want to clean/check out the black box to see if it is full of crud. has anyone did this job before? I can see the the box and it is alot of oil residue and crud around it. can i take the thing out wtihout removing alot of other parts? it looks like it is hard to get to. Any special tools like a craftman elbow extension or something needed?
