sway-bar size change 200

I did look in archives but couldn't find the exact answer....

I have a non-turbo '86 240 wagon with ipd bars - 25 / 22.
I'm looking to get a pair of 23s - front from a turbo the rear from a '79 GT.
What will this do to have same diameter front to back? Should the rear always be smaller for wagons?

It corners nicely now but I don't like the side effect of the front wheels not being as independent from each other for rough city streets, etc.....
