oil cooler for B20? 120-130 1966

I have a 1966 122 4 door with a B20 engine

would an oil cooler help keep the car from running hot?

it seems to reach the red when I am stuck in traffic, replaced the thermostat a couple of years ago and it helped marginally, flushe dhte rad and it helped marginally (rad seems in goo dcondition, no bugs stuck in fins, no fin damage)

or would it be a waste of money and time?

is one easy to hook up?
