More on 242 door window wipers 200 1981

I went to a salvage yard and they had some later model doors from 2 door volvos with door window wipers, but they looked different from the ones I took off my 81 242. They had a chrome trim piece with the wiper clipped into it, while mine are a simple rubber strip that has metal clips that hold it on the door. Are they interchangeable, the later model wipers and earlier years? Thanks, K
